Sejarah Singkat Band
Led Zeppelin band rock dari Inggris yang dibentuk pada tahun 1968 dan terdiri dari gitaris Jimmy Page, vokalis Robert Plant, drummer John Bonham dan bassis John Paul Jones. Dengan gaya Heavy, gitar-driven sound blues-rock yang teratur, Led Zeppelin disebut sebagai salah satu nenek moyang Heavy Metal dan hard rock, meskipun secara individual gaya music mereka mengambil dari berbagai aliran (melebihi dari satu genre music).
Lebih dari tiga puluh tahun lamanya mereka bubar, setelah kematian Bonham pada tahun 1980, namun Led Zeppelin terus dikagumi pecinta music dan menjadi pengaruh besar bagi band-band seterusnya.
Album mereka telah terjual lebih dari 300 juta copy di seluruh dunia,  termasuk 111.500.000 unit bersertifikat di Amerika Serikat, menjadikan mereka sebagai salah satu band best-selling music artis sepanjang masa di dunia, dan menduduki peringkat kedua Best-Selling Band sepanjang masa di Amerika Serikat, setelah The Beatles. Album-album mereka selalu tercatat di Billboard chart di Amerika Serikat, dengan 6 album mencapai nomor satu. Majalah Rolling Stone mengatakan bahwa Led Zeppelin sebagai “band paling Heavy sepanjang masa”, “band terbesar di tahun 70-an” dan “tidak diragukan lagi salah satu band paling abadi dalam sejarah rock”. Demikian pula, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame menyatakan pada 1970-an band ini termasuk sebagai “band yang paling berpengaruh setelah The Beatles”.
Pada tahun 2007, personil dari Led Zeppelin bersatu kembali (bersama dengan putra John Bonham, Jason) untuk manghadiri Ahmet Ertegün Tribute Konser di The ₂ O Arena di London. Band ini dinobatkan dengan Best Live Act untuk reuni mereka di Mojo Awards 2008,  dan mereka meraih pula “band rock and roll terbesar sepanjang masa. “
